Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the VendWell application (by Coastal Vending 912), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Services Provided

For Operators: Inventory management, predictive restock recommendations, optimized driver routes, machine downtime detection with optional SMS alerts, sales tracking, CSV bulk import, and customer analytics. Available on a recurring subscription billed via Stripe.

For Consumers: Product barcode scanning with nutritional analysis (HealthScan), live machine inventory grids, favorites with optional back-in-stock push notifications, loyalty reward points, and digital reward code redemption at compatible vending machines.

2a. Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds

Operator features may require an active subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew at the interval shown at checkout (monthly or annual). Cancel any time from Account → Manage Subscription; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We honor a 14-day refund window for first-time subscribers; after that, refunds are at our discretion. All payments are processed by Stripe; we never store card numbers.

2b. Notifications & Messaging

Web push notifications and SMS alerts are off by default. By enabling them you consent to receive automated messages tied to your account activity (back-in-stock alerts, machine downtime alerts). You can revoke consent at any time from your device settings, the in-app toggle, or by replying STOP to any SMS. Standard message and data rates may apply. We do not send marketing messages without separate explicit consent.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Operators are responsible for the accuracy of inventory data they enter
  • You must provide accurate information during registration
  • You must not share account credentials or allow unauthorized access

4. HealthScan Disclaimer

The HealthScan nutritional analysis and health scores (0-100 scale) are for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice. Additive risk ratings (green/yellow/red) are based on publicly available research and may not reflect individual health considerations. Always consult a healthcare professional for dietary decisions.

5. Loyalty Rewards

  • Reward points have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts
  • Reward codes expire 72 hours after generation
  • We reserve the right to modify the rewards program with notice
  • Reward redemption requires a compatible card reader (e.g., Cantaloupe G11)

6. Reseller / White-Label Terms

Operators using the platform for resale purposes must maintain their own customer support. The platform provider is not liable for end-user issues with resold services.

7. Prohibited Uses

  • Manipulating reward points or loyalty balances
  • Reverse-engineering or scraping the HealthScan database
  • Using the service for any illegal purpose
  • Interfering with other users' access to the service

8. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to reliance on HealthScan nutritional data.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our discretion for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time.
